Electrotiles™ are made from durable, non-toxic materials. The magnets are recessed and sealed inside the tile housing — they're not loose magnetic balls or beads. The LEDs are low-voltage and low-heat. Every tile passes our quality-control checks before it leaves us.

Recommended for ages 5 and up

Electrotiles™ are designed for children ages 5 and up. Adult supervision is recommended for younger kids who are part of the building fun. Tiles are not toys for infants or toddlers under 3.

About the magnets

Each tile contains neodymium magnets recessed inside the tile housing. They're strong enough to hold a tower together and not loose enough to ingest. If a tile is ever cracked or damaged, retire it immediately and contact us for a replacement. Swallowed magnets are a serious medical emergency — keep damaged tiles away from kids.

About the electronics

Electrotiles™ run at low voltage through a USB connection. The Power Tile (included) plugs into any standard USB outlet; the rest of the tiles draw power through the magnetic connections. The cable carries less current than a typical phone charger and stays cool to the touch. Use only the included USB cable or a UL-listed equivalent. Do not attempt to open the tile housing.

Care

Wipe tiles with a slightly damp cloth. Do not submerge in water. Tiles are splash-resistant, not waterproof. Store away from direct sunlight and high heat.
